SetlistBet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the SetlistBet website and mobile application at setlistbet.com. SetlistBet is a fan engagement platform that allows concert-goers to predict setlists for live music events.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Email address (when joining the waitlist or submitting picks)
- Song predictions you submit for upcoming shows
Information collected automatically:
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring website or app
Location information (WAVEs feature only):
- If you use WAVEs to check in at a live show, we collect your GPS coordinates at the time of check-in
- Location data is used solely to verify you are at the venue
- We do not track your location continuously or outside of an active check-in
- Location data is stored only for the duration of the show and deleted within 24 hours
3. How We Use Your Information
- To save and score your setlist predictions
- To send you your results and score after a show
- To send early access and product update emails (waitlist only)
- To verify venue attendance for the WAVEs live reporting feature
- To improve the product and fix bugs
- To calculate leaderboard rankings and award badges
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate SetlistBet:
- Supabase — database storage (supabase.com)
- Vercel — website hosting (vercel.com)
- Resend — transactional email (resend.com)
- Ticketmaster — show and ticket data (ticketmaster.com)
- Setlist.fm — historical setlist data (setlist.fm)
All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Email addresses are retained until you request deletion
- Pick history and scores are retained to power your profile and leaderboard rankings
- WAVEs location data is deleted within 24 hours of the show ending
- You can request deletion of all your data at any time
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
- Withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@setlistbet.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
SetlistBet uses minimal cookies necessary for the app to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We may use anonymous analytics to understand how people use the site (page views, feature usage) without identifying individual users.
8. Children's Privacy
SetlistBet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at privacy@setlistbet.com.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure database access controls, and environment-variable-protected API keys. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via email. Continued use of SetlistBet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
